A strong advocate in the ability of Yoga and Mindfulness to enrich our lives, she has an integrative approach to therapy bringing yoga, somatic movement, embodiment and breath into work with her clients. Lucinda has studied with Gabor Maté in the treatment of Addictions and Trauma and uses his psychotherapeutic method of Compassionate Inquiry throughout her work. Compassionate Inquiry is a somatic-based psychotherapeutic approach that gently uncovers and releases layers of childhood trauma, constriction and suppressed emotion embedded in the body, that are considered to be at the root of physical and mental illness and addiction.

Interweaving all her knowledge, including a background in Shiatsu and Chinese medicine she also has formal training in Hatha, Japanese Yoga and Yin Yoga. Lucinda’s classes are powerfully gentle and transformative. Her courses are open to all levels of experience and are held in a beautiful safe space, in the spirit of non-judgment, inclusiveness and community.
